Prashant's Guwahati visit
PSR arrived in Guwahati yesterday, rather dragged his
body as he is down with a bad viral streak unseen
according to him in last 20 yrs.!If he manages to get
up, we will have a SNF GTG here.
Gandhi, Koli, Shyamal,Pagal besides yours truly have
confirmed with wives.Ujjal is supposed to land up from
Tinsukia provided there is no bandh that side!Other
'78ers from Ghy. like Gairik,Pulin Baishya,Munindra
Kakati,Shamim Shahidulla(Dadru),Apurba Kalita are not
in touch.

We had a nice GTG here in Guwahati despite a minor
hiccup.As Prashanth is staying with his brother
inlaw,the Airforce C.O., there is a lot of security
net around them.The airport is about 26 Kms away from
the city and there was a grenade blast close to
Gandhi's house.The special branch guys advised
Prashanth and all not to venture out at night!Our GTG
was almost in for a toss but I persuaded them and told
that there is nothing to worry about.That was just a
pataka !!
So he boldly decided to come with his nephew and niece
and made it.We had a great time.His sickness vanished
the moment he met us!
Well, we had old lacchas mostly while the ladies had
their own talk.Bajaj and his birthday wishes were
critisized by PSR.The Clonty topic also came up!
We split around 12 finally.He is now cooling off in
Shillong with his family.
